However you feel about his victory, Trump’s election was a direct hit to the sense of unity among Americans and it reflects the direction in which we sometimes feel Europe is going. The Brexit, the refugee-discussions, the rise of right-wing movements; often we get the feeling Europe and its countries are more polarized than ever. We want to call together all European youth to pray for the EU, to pray against this polarization. We are the future of Europe, and we want make a stand against the crises of the recent past. We want to stop the growth of polarizing right wing thought and want to ask God in prayer for his help and blessing in this mission.
We would like to invite every young European citizen to come and aid us in this prayer during the second European Youth Prayer Breakfast in Brussels. Besides prayer, there will be music (Worship band eSPé from Slovakia), speakers and of course food. The event will start December 8th at 7.30h (entry) and will finish two hours later at 9.30h. The breakfast will be hosted by MEP Branislav Skripek and speakers are Christel Ngnambi (EEA) and Guido van Beusekom (ECPM). The full program and details will soon be published on our website and social media. Register before December 6th!
We would like to welcome you at the prayer breakfast!
Kind regards, on behalf of the ECPYouth-board,
