The Power of Propaganda
The ECPYouth Board is pleased to announce that a Regional Conference will take place in Kyiv, Ukraine from 7-9 December 2018. The theme of this Regional Conference is “The Power of Propaganda”.
In differents parts of the world, in different context, we nowadays face the problem of propaganda and fake news. And it is powerful and crucial. At this Regional Conference in Kyiv, Ukraine, we will cover the topic from the perspective of religious, social and political point of view. How to tackle the power of propaganda?
Participants from all over Europe, both from EU and non-EU countries; international speakers with backgrounds in politics or academia; lectures on political and societal topics from a Christian-democratic perspective. There will also be workshops for the participants to improve themselves on several political skills. The aim is for them to get more know-how and ability for their future political responsibilities.
Besides the official part, the conference will provide an opportunity for participants for cultural exchange, learning about each other’s cultures and countries, making friendships and have fun.
The participation fee will be the amount of 40 EUR (EU-citizens) or 20 EUR (non-EU-citizens from Eastern Europe), which includes accommodation (2 nights) and meals. Travel costs are not covered by the organisers, but participants can apply for potential reimbursement of traveling costs. Central and Eastern Europeans are particularly encouraged to do so.
