During the last days, Europeans went to the polls to cast their vote for the next mandate of the European Parliament. Yesterday, we learned that the EP will make a small swing to the right.
We congratulate all contesting ECPM Member Parties on their hard fought campaign! ECPYouth is delighted that MEPs Bert-Jan Ruissen (SGP), Helmut Geuking (FP) and Cristian Terheş are reelected for a new mandate. We are looking forward to continue our cooperation with them and their youth branches.
ECPYouth is thankful that ECPM picked up a Latvian seat from Vilis Krištopans. We congratulate him and we are looking forward to cooperating with him for the next EP mandate.
Unfortunately, ChristenUnie and Jobbik lost their seat. We are thankful for their hard campaign and our cooperation with them over the last year. We are looking forward to a continued cooperation with their youth branches.
ECPYouth is thankful for ECPM’s 4 seats during turbulent political times. Besides that, we are looking forward to the next mandate of the EP and to bring youth issues on the agenda! Together, forward in faith.
